Our Communities

The Holdsworth ‘community’ is very important to us. Our staff, volunteers, members, neighbours, donors and, most important of all, those who use our services form the Holdsworth ‘community’.

We encourage participation, and value the input of members, volunteers and service users in our efforts to create an inclusive and responsive organisation. People can engage with the work of the Centre in many ways and often those who access a service will become volunteers so that they can give something back. It is this spirit of sharing that makes us what we are.

Supporting the community through delivery of services, provision of information and referral involves partnerships and co-operation and Holdsworth is proud to work with many other non-government organisations in the area and beyond to achieve its goals and ensure quality services reach those who need them.
