Our primary purpose is social inclusion, removing the barriers that prevent older people, carers, people living with disabilities and young families from participating in a connected community and maximising opportunities for healthy and happy life choices. We listen to people and provide opportunities for engagement.

Our vision is to be the leading, community-based benevolent service provider in South East Sydney. We will be financially sustainable so that our community is able to look after itself. We provide the support necessary for people to live their lives to the full. We create opportunities for all members of the community to interact with each other in a positive, self-affirming environment.

Holdsworth’s mission is to deliver person-centred solutions that make a qualitative improvement in people’s lives. We provide community services – primarily social support and recreation, community transport, shopping and food services, information, referral and advocacy. We harness the resources of the community and provide opportunities for connection, volunteering and mutual support.

The people we serve are seniors, children and adults with mild-to-moderate intellectual disabilities, those who care for seniors or for people with disabilities and families with children under six years of age. Our work integrates all these stakeholders within the general community.
