Holdsworth works in the community to support children and adults living with intellectual disabilities; families with young children; older people who may be frail, ill, lacking mobility, experiencing social isolation or living with dementia; and their families and care givers throughout Sydney and its Eastern Suburbs.

We don’t do this alone – the support from our donors and volunteers is a critical part to enabling the delivery of services to those who need it and to build the type of community in which we all want to live.

It is the funding from supporters that allows Holdsworth to go above and beyond the basics that the government might fund and to deliver bespoke solutions that really make a positive impact on the lives of those whom we support.

We understand that it is the little things that make a difference, and at times it comes down to having enough staff so that we are able to take the time to have a real conversation with someone who is living with dementia or to help a teenager living with disability learn a new skill such as purchasing an opal card and catching a bus so they can be more independent.

Your gift, of whatever amount is right for you, will help us to make a real impact on the lives of the people with whom we work and build the type of community in which we all want to live.
