Volunteering for Holdsworth Contributing to the development of a healthy, vibrant and supportive community through positive participation is a rewarding experience and one that gives something to both the individual and the community. The work of Holdsworth Community Centre & Services depends on and is enriched by people who wish to support their community by volunteering their time, experience and commitment.

What are the Benefits of Volunteering?

Volunteering has many benefits. It is an ideal way of getting to know your local community members, helping others, using existing skills or learning new ones. We highly value the contribution of our volunteers and provide our volunteers with job descriptions, training, support, reimbursement for program expenses and work references.

What Volunteer Positions are Available?

Volunteers work in all program areas in varied roles and capacities. Vacancies available change over time. We are always looking at new ways to involve volunteers in our organisation, some current volunteering opportunities at Holdsworth include:
